Churches around Red Wing will ring their bells for 10 minutes beginning at 11 a.m. Sunday, March 31. The event will focus on downtown and around Central Park.

The moment is a repeat heralding of “Red Wing Rings.” Amid the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, Red Wing churches rang their bells to inspire all those who heard the sounds. On Easter this year, area churches are ringing their bells again to bring people together amid discord in the country and the world. Organizers ask people to listen to the bells together as a family of friends, neighbors, Red Wing, Minnesotans, Americans, faiths and the world and to celebrate that everyone is united for goodwill locally and throughout the world.

People are invited to make their own noise at the conclusion of the bell ringing.
