Update: Sheriff's office lip sync video makes it to semifinals

A Law Enforcement Lip Sync Challenge video by the Dakota County Sheriff's Office has advanced to the final four in a nationwide competition by USA Today.
The Sheriff's office is asking for the public's help in voting for the video in the contest bracket. The 2016 video is competing against a video by the police department in Flower Mound, Texas for a spot in the final round.
The sheriff's office was up 5,608 votes to 4,968 votes in the semifinals as of Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 5.
According to a news release:
"Members of the office were very enthusiastic in creating the video and were proud to showcase the wonderful work done by the men and women that make up the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office. We appreciate all the support we can get to promote the video!"
